Okay, truth is there is nothing simple about a product marketing strategy. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but if you are looking for a marketing positioning strategy that will simply deliver you might want to go back to the drawing board before you get started.

Now that all the riff raff is gone I can share my secret with you. This is where this product marketing strategy gets good, potentially really good. Let’s chat.

First thing you want to do is setup a Website that fits the niche you are involved with For Resource Point LLC this would be ATG Dynamo developers.

Just today I heard a great way of doing this using Amazon’s information. Simply go to the Amazon Website, select the tab that reads “bestsellers” and explore your findings. That’s it. You now have fodder for your niche.

But that isn’t my product marketing plan that I wanted to share with you today.

Once you have your Website setup you need to take time to do key search engine optimization for best results. A tool I use for this that I would not be without is called Traffic Travis. If you Google it you’ll see why. The professional version of Traffic Travis could easily be sold for much more than they want. Even so, they have a free version that is dynamite all by itself.

But that isn’t my branding marketing strategy that I want to share.

Now it is time to setup a social marketing process for your product sales strategy. Many people do this by setting up a Twitter or Facebook account and being done with it. I suppose they will get results that way, but I think there are better options. That’s why I setup social marketing networks using Ping.FM and social bookmarking systems using OnlyWire.com.

But even that isn’t my product marketing plan.
Next I use sites like EzineArticles to create content that I hope other people will enjoy reading. Apparently I’m right, because there you are. EzineArticles does a great job of getting your articles live despite their 48 hour till live statement. My experience is their service is more like 48 seconds, and yes I am stretching the truth just a little there.

With these articles I am able to create a branding marketing strategy that I can then send out to the social networks and bookmarking accounts I have created. With this product target market process it won’t take long till people are coming to read my articles and hopefully checking out my profile and Websites as a result.

But I still haven’t shared my product marketing strategy with you.

In truth, while the above product marketing plan is a good one it does take a bit of time to accomplish. What if I could remove the time factor altogether and still have traffic flowing to you on a regular basis.
